Usage Terms and Conditions

As a user or consumer on the Waset Syria platform, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions below once you use the platform. Waset Syria platform also has the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and they are binding on all parties after announcing the amendment. The terms and conditions and legal disputes are subject to the laws, legislation and regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

I- User Obligations

As a user and beneficiary of the Waset Syria Platform services, you must adhere to the following:

1- Review the terms of advertising and prohibited goods before advertising and do not advertise prohibited goods or goods that are not compatible with the Platform sections.
2- Do not manipulate the prices of goods, whether in selling or buying and harm other consumers.
3- Do not include in the advertisement a false offer, statement or claim or phrased with expressions that would directly or indirectly lead to deceiving or misleading the consumer, or slander, or defamation.
4- Do not hack or circumvent the laws, policies and regulations of the Platform or any rights related to a third party.
5- Do not copy any advertisement from the Waset Syria Platform and republish it on another site.
6- Not to use any illegal means to access advertisements or user data.
7- Not to expose policies, international sovereignty, or dignitaries, or any illegal discussions on the Waset Syria Platform.
8- Not to include in the advertisement a logo or trademark that you do not have the right to use, or a counterfeit mark and anything that violates the intellectual property rights of others or patents.
9- Not to advertise tobacco and smoking products.
10- Not to violate human rights regulations and human trafficking in any way.
11- Adhere to the real estate advertising controls set by the General Authority for Real Estate.
12- A license must be obtained from the Ministry of Tourism to provide any offers or tourism products.
13- Not to collect or use the personal data of site users or their electronic communications for unauthorized or permitted purposes, or to disclose them to another party, for a fee or without a fee, except with the consent of the person to whom the personal data is related or if the regulations require it.
14- Not to do anything that would harm the reputation of the Waset Syria Platform Information Technology website in any way, whether on the Platform itself or on other social media platforms, and the Platform reserves the right to refer you to all damages resulting from that.

Failure to comply with these terms and conditions gives the Waset Syria Website Company for Information Technology the right to cancel your membership and refer your violation to the competent authorities to impose penalties when necessary and prevent you from accessing the Platform without any responsibility and without the need to notify you of this, and you have no right to object and hereby pledge not to return to using the Platform except after the Platform's approval.

 

II-Responsibility

The responsibility of the Waset Syria Website Company for Information Technology is limited to enabling the user to display his goods and publish the content in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions of use and does not provide any guarantees and does not bear any responsibility in the event that the user or consumer does not comply with them.
1- The Waset Syria Platform disclaims any responsibility for any risk, damage, consequences or losses incurred by the seller, buyer or any other party.
2- By using the Waset Syria Platform, you acknowledge that you bear full responsibility for ensuring that all relevant laws, regulations and systems are followed when using the Platform. You are also fully responsible for managing all purchases and deliveries, resolving problems and disputes arising from the content of the advertisement, and you are committed to the content controls and conditions set forth by the Waset Syria Platform and you alone bear the consequences and damages of the content and release the Maarod Platform from any claims resulting from or related to your transactions or resulting from them.
3- By using the Maarod Platform, you authorize the Platform to save the personal and non-personal data and information that you have entered on the Platform’s servers and we have the right to view and review them.
4- By using the Waset Syria Platform, you acknowledge the Platform's right to monitor private messages when necessary to ensure that they are free of violations of the Usage Terms and Conditions and we have the right to delete the advertisement and dispose of the attached images when necessary.
5- The circulars, decisions and directives of the Platform's management and supervisors are binding on the user after they are delivered to him via the site's private messages, mobile, email or via the notification system, and he must abide by them and act in accordance with them.
6- By using the Platform, you acknowledge the right of the Waset Syria Platform in the event that you violate the regulations and laws followed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or the policies and laws of the Waset Syria Platform, the Waset Syria Platform has the right to refer to you for all damages and losses and charge you with attorney fees in all matters and cases related to your violation and you are committed to compensate for it.

 

III-Membership Conditions

1- A decent and appropriate name for the membership must be chosen during the registration process.
2- It is prohibited to create more than one account for the same user on the Platform.
3- It is prohibited to use more than one membership on the Platform for each person or entity.
4- You must update your mobile number associated with the membership in the event that your mobile number is changed or lost.
5- If your membership name contains a trade name or trademark, you must be the owner of the trademark or authorized to use the name or trademark.
6- It is prohibited to sell or assign the membership to another party or allow any other party to use it, and the first membership owner is responsible for it towards any violations or legal liabilities, and both parties are considered in the event of a sale or assignment in violation of the Usage Terms and Conditions on the Waset Syria Platform.
7- The member is obligated not to share his/her membership information with anyone.
8- By using the Waset Syria Platform, you acknowledge the Platform's right to suspend your number or account and include it in the list of suspended accounts in the event that a report or complaint is filed against you or if you commit a violation that the Platform management deems worthy of suspension and pledges not to publish these facts and events via electronic platforms or social media sites and others, and we have the right, if proven, to go to the competent authority to impose penalties and fines and oblige you to compensate for all damages and losses resulting from that.

 

IV-Prohibited Goods

 

The following goods are prohibited from being advertised on the Platform and are prohibited from being purchased through the site. The advertiser who advertises these goods will be banned and everyone who responds to him via private messages or through responses will be banned. The ban will be final and without any warning.

1-      All prohibited goods according to the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

2-      Goods that infringe on intellectual property rights, such as copied programs and films. Weapons, including detonators, pistols, machine guns, personal protection weapons and their accessories, even if they are licensed.

3-      Laser devices, spying and eavesdropping devices.

4-      Security risk devices. Prohibited devices such as: jamming devices, encryption devices, or mobile signal boosters.

5-      Medicines, medical and health products. These goods are prohibited even if they are permitted by the Ministry of Health laws and even if they are recommended by the Ministry.

6-      Sexual products in all their forms and types.

7-      Tobacco products.

8-      Installment and banking products. These goods are prohibited even if they are considered legitimate.

9-      Network marketing. Any type of network marketing is strictly prohibited, regardless of its type, nature, or method.

10-  Stocks, portfolio management, currencies, and their marketing, and everything related to that.

11-  Websites, forums, electronic services, emails, and selling memberships and programs.

12-  Selling any free product. Examples of this include emails, Twitter and Instagram accounts, etc.

13-  Advertising products or services that require a license without obtaining a license from the regulatory authority.

14-  Advertising SIM cards or communications services without obtaining the necessary licenses.

 

 

V-Prohibited Advertisement

 

The following list contains some of the prohibited advertising methods and ways on the Platform:

1-      All advertisements that are not related to buying and selling.

2-      Advertising in the wrong section, such as advertising a car for sale in the furniture section, for example.

3-      Adding pictures of a product other than the one being offered for sale.

4-      Post topics, suggestions, or discuss problems as an advertisement on the site. The site is dedicated to ads for buying and selling only.

5-      Advertisements that do not have complete details.

6-      Adding an advertisement while you have another banned membership.

7-      Any advertisement that contains incorrect information, whether the error is intentional or unintentional. All information about the product in the advertisement must be verified. For example, advertising that the car's mileage is a certain number, while in reality it is much more.

8-      Adding an advertisement for the purpose of defamation.

9-      Adding an advertisement title that contradicts the content of the advertisement.

10-  Copying an advertisement of another advertiser or part of it.

11-  General advertisements that do not specify the specific product, such as advertising real estate or cars for sale without mentioning their details in the advertisement.

12-  Donation advertisements and requests for assistance. The Kingdom’s laws and regulations prohibit donations and charitable work outside the specific legal scope designated for that.

13-  Advertisements about contributions and subscriptions.

14-  Begging and helping beggars. The member who helps beggars on the site will be banned.

15-  Requesting mediation and assistance, whether legitimate or illegitimate.

16-  Advertisements that contain abuse of authority.

17-  Advertising in the responses section.

 

VI-Prohibited Responses

The following list contains some prohibited responses:
1- Advertising in the responses section.
2- Mocking the product or advertiser.
3- Depreciating the product.
4- Commenting to add a joke or news.
5- Insults and swearing, whether justified or not.
6- Lack of seriousness and unwillingness to buy.

VIII-Payment and Dealing Mechanism

You are required to follow all or one of the following steps to protect your dealings with the seller or buyer:
- The sale must be made face-to-face in a public place and through reliable, systematic methods.
- Verify the identity of the seller or buyer before any action.
- You must inspect the product to ensure that it is free of any defects.
- Use the secure payment methods.

Failure to comply with the above instructions may expose you to fraud and you hereby acknowledge that you bear responsibility and that the Waset Syria website Company for Information Technology is not a party to the transaction and does not bear any responsibility and is committed to filing a report or complaint on the Waset Syria Platform to deal with the fraudulent party. You are committed to filing a complaint with the competent authority in accordance with the regular methods in the event of any damage. You undertake not to publish these facts and events through electronic platforms or social networking sites and others.
